Premium Wholesale Cars is a locally owned, independent car dealership in Christchurch, New Zealand. Not a franchise, not a chain — just a dedicated team that sources premium vehicles from multiple brands and sells them at genuine wholesale prices.
Every vehicle in our showroom is AA certified and personally inspected before it reaches the floor. We carry Toyota, Nissan, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, and more — all with verified kilometres and transparent pricing. No hidden fees, no dealer markups.

Yes — every vehicle comes with a minimum three-month dealer warranty. We also offer extended mechanical warranties through Autosure (12, 24, and 36-month terms from $695), GAP insurance through Janssens from $295, and comprehensive vehicle insurance options.
Can I book a test drive?
Absolutely. You can book a test drive online through our website or by calling us on 0800 422 771. We recommend booking ahead, especially on Saturdays.
Do you buy vehicles?
Yes — we buy vehicles outright and accept trade-ins. Contact us with your vehicle details or bring it in for a free valuation during business hours.
Do you offer car finance?
Yes — we work with a panel of NZ lenders including Better Finance, AFD, Finance Now, Heartland, Avanti, and Geneva. We can typically approve finance for most buyers, including first-car buyers, people with limited credit history, and those on a work visa. Apply online or call 0800 422 771.
Are your vehicles imported or New Zealand new?
Most of our vehicles are quality used imports from Japan, personally inspected and AA certified before sale. All imports are fully compliance-checked (VTNZ/AA) before reaching the showroom, with clear odometer history and a minimum three-month dealer warranty.
Do you deliver vehicles nationwide in New Zealand?
Yes — we offer nationwide delivery across both the North and South Island. Delivery cost varies by location; contact us for a quote. Many customers also fly into Christchurch to collect their vehicle directly from our Sockburn showroom.
Do you service vehicles after purchase?
Yes — we run a dealer-backed service workshop at 27 Watts Road, Sockburn, handling WOFs, lube services, diagnostics, and mechanical work. Book online through our Service section or call 0800 422 771.
What is included in the purchase price?
Every vehicle includes a fresh lube service, 12-month Warrant of Fitness (WOF), a minimum three-month dealer warranty, and full compliance certification. Extended warranties, GAP insurance, and service plans are available as optional add-ons through our partners.
