Extended Warranty

Your dealer warranty lasts 3 months. After that, a single mechanical failure can cost thousands. Extended warranty keeps you covered for 1–4 years — so one unexpected repair doesn't become a financial crisis.

The Risk

Why Extended Warranty Matters

The standard 3-month dealer warranty covers you for the initial period after purchase. But most major mechanical failures — turbo, transmission, ECU — occur between 6 and 24 months of ownership. That's well after the dealer warranty expires, and the repair bills are significant.

Turbo replacement

$2,000 – $4,000

Transmission rebuild

$3,000 – $6,000

ECU replacement

$1,500 – $3,500

Engine rebuild

$5,000 – $12,000

Extended warranty covers these risks for 1–4 years, giving you certainty and peace of mind from day one.

Getting Started

How to Purchase

1

At Time of Purchase

The easiest option. We set it up when you buy your vehicle — no inspections, no delays. It can be rolled into your finance for a single monthly cost.

2

After Purchase

Already bought your vehicle? Contact us to discuss adding extended warranty within the warranty period. Some plans may require a brief inspection.

3

Bundled with Finance

Extended warranty can be included in your vehicle finance, spreading the cost over your loan term. One less thing to think about.

Understanding the Difference

Extended Warranty vs Consumer Guarantees Act

The Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) protects you against defects that were present at the time of sale. If a fault existed when you bought the vehicle, the CGA requires the dealer to address it — regardless of whether you have extended warranty.

Extended warranty covers something entirely different: new mechanical failures that develop after purchase. A transmission that wears out at 18 months, a turbo that fails at 2 years, an ECU that dies at 3 years — these are new faults, not defects from the time of sale.

"The CGA covers what was already wrong. Extended warranty covers what goes wrong next."

This is the gap extended warranty fills. Without it, any new mechanical failure after the 3-month dealer warranty is your cost to bear — and those repairs are rarely cheap.
